Haul Road East (CSI Mining Services)
- Client: CSI Mining Services
- Location: From Kens Bore mine to Onslow
- Duration: April 2024 – November 2024
This large-scale project involved construction of autonomous haul routes for CSI road trains, directly subcontracted to Hytorque after our performance on the overpass job.
Scope:
- Built 90km of Main Access Road and 150km of haul road
- Topsoil stripping, unsuitable removal, and cut and fill of conditioned material
- Grader trimming removal and borrow pit conditioning
- Dust suppression and borrow pit conditioning with water carts

NWCH SP5 – North West Coastal Highway Overpass
- Client: SPA (contracted to Centrals)
- Location: MRL Haul Road Project
- Duration: October 2023 – April 2024
Hytorque supported the construction of a new overpass on the North West Coastal Highway (NWCH), enabling highway traffic to pass safely over Mineral Resources’ new haul road from Kens Bore to Onslow Port.
Scope:
- Built a temporary bypass road to maintain NWCH traffic flow during construction
- Carried out all overpass earthworks, including:
- Topsoil stripping (20,000 BCM)
- Foundation preparation
- Conditioning of borrow pit material
- Cut and fill operations (180,000 BCM placed in 4 separate lots — 2 north, 2 south of bypass)
- Managed traffic control throughout the project
- Coordinated with Main Roads WA inspectors for weekly checks on material quality and site safety

Flying Fish Haul Road

- Location: FMG - Eliwana site

- Topsoil stripping and cut/fill to build autonomous haul road
- On-site mechanical support for SRG fleet and Hytorque equipment

Western Range Haul Road Construction
- Client: CPB Contractors
- Location: Paraburdoo
- Duration: January 2023 – June 2023
As part of Rio Tinto’s new Western Range development, Hytorque supported construction of a 30km haul road connecting a satellite pit to Paraburdoo mine.
Scope:
- Topsoil stripping of approximately 800,000m³
- Cut and fill shared with CPB’s dump truck fleet
- Assisted site supervision with scraper haul circuit setup and material assessments

Western Range Camp Pad
- Client: MACA
- Location: Paraburdoo
- Duration: July 2022 – December 2022
Hytorque was engaged to build the Rio Tinto Western Range camp pad from the ground up using scraper operations.

Access Road & Mine Plant Earthworks

- Location: 100km North East of Broome

Cape Leveque Drain Works
- Client: MACA Civil / Main Roads WA
- Location: Broome

Wedgefield Industrial Area – Stage 3

Koodaideri Rail Construction (Now Gudai-Darri Rail)

A year-long rail development project covering 90km of new line for Rio Tinto.
Scope:
- Earthworks across two remote camp locations
- Managed works in asbestos zones with strict safety procedures including weed and seed, asbestos-rated filters, and full PPE
